Paw Prints Remembered is our memorial program giving families a beautiful and lasting way to do just that. A personalized engraved plaque bearing your companion's name is displayed on our Paw Prints Remembered board in the Meet & Greet Room at our Adoption Center in La Grange, KY. This board is seen every day by new families as they open their hearts and homes to a new family member. It is a quiet, powerful reminder that the love we share with our animal companions is as real and lasting as any love there is.

Your participation in this program not only honors the family member you have lost, it directly supports the rescued animals currently in our care and the dedicated volunteers who serve them every single day.

A minimum $100 donation places your pet's name on an engraved plaque on our Paw Prints Remembered board. Up to three pet names may share a single plaque for the donation. Once your plaque is ready, we will mail you a printed keepsake photo of the plaque.

Our Paw Prints Remembered board was created in early 2024 by a young man named Karsen, a member of Boy Scout Troop 109, who chose this as his Eagle Scout Project. He built it first in honor, and then in memory of his beloved dog Jackie O, better known as JoJo, a proud Adopt Me! alum. The care and love Karsen poured into that board is the same love that lives in every plaque placed on it. And yes, he did earn his Eagle Scout!
