Kingsley

KINGSLEY is a an 18-month-old male Great Dane. He was surrendered to us by a well-meaning person who rescued him from apartment living. He is a beautiful dog, but he is BIG! Kingsley made a quick entrance into our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program so we could 1) let him run & play to develop his big frame properly and 2) to teach him to "harness" some of that energy and size. He's proved to be a big love bug and will readily give sloppy kisses! He's great with people and loves other dogs. Kingsley's forever home must have a fenced in yard. No apartments or invisible fences. 

While we've accomplished our objectives for him, only time will "tame" the puppy. His owners will have to be able to follow through on his commands to keep him composed when necessary. He's very tall, and, while he's only 110 lbs (he will fill out), that's alot when he gets the "zoomies" in the house. He's been introduced to small children, and he was very cautious. He loves to play with other dogs, but they would have to be size appropriate.
