Meet EMBER - Paws Behind Bars

EMBER is a 4-5 month old Terrier mix female puppy. She is currently in our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program as an experiment to see what the guidance and attention of a full time trainer can do for her. EMBER was one of a litter who exhibited a high work ethic early on. Beyond smart, she needed much more than normal puppy play to keep her busy. In the prison, Ember has also been able to develop her overall social skills. Crowds of people, loud noises, other dogs - nothing bothers her. EMBER is nearing the end of her training and is ready for adoption. She will need a home that can maintain her training and be able to keep her mentally exercised - so not necessarily the casual family pet - and we know you're out there!
