Meet REESIE - Paws Behind Bars Trained

REESIE is a 2-year-old female Weimaraner mix. She is currently in our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program to help focus that high energy level of hers. She is active but also very social and playful. Thanks to the "out of the box thinking" of her inmate, she is bunking up with Pink. Pink is a 7-month-old Cattle Dog mix puppy with a work ethic that requires a lot of hands on. Reesie came to us with 10 puppies, and now that the pups are adopted, we're focusing on her needs. She's been a good mother so the special combination of an experienced inmate handler, an energetic cattle dog puppy, and a young mother dog working together is a perfect combinaton. (It's no secret that dogs learn well from each other.) If interested in adopting REESIE and/or Pink or both, they are both going to make good family additions. A fenced yard is a must as well as a schedule that allows for one on one tim. Dogs like these are not suitable for long crate hours.
