Meet PERCY - Paws Behind Bars Trained

PERCY is a 6-year-old large breed mixed male who weighs 67 lbs. He was surrendered to a local vet's office when his owners no longer wanted him. The techs rallied around Percy and his brother and reached out to our rescue. Although we found him to be a lovely, kind brown dog, we decided to enroll him in our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program to see if there was a reason he was surrendered without cause. Percy learned his obedience quickly and continued to be just a great dog! Percy has a medium energy level and loves everyone! He bonded quickly with his inmate, and he's playing nicely with the other dogs. He's nicely socialized and just an easy dog to be around. He's officially crate, leash, and house trained and will sit, down, stay, and come on command. He'll do well in just about any family situation. Percy needs a fenced yard.
