MAX is a 9-year-old male Border Collie who weighs a little too much. He came into our program when his human dad passed away and his human mom couldn't take him to her new home. These are some of the saddest stories for us - all this dog ever knew was a loving home with senior people. Now a senior himself, he's facing the biggest transition of his life. He's very healthy, and was well taken care of, but he'll need a home similar to the one he came from - quiet, predictable and patient. It takes the older dogs time to re-establish trust and acclimate. If you have a warm place in your heart for the older dogs and can let him live the way he wants to live, please complete an
application, or
email us if you submitted an application within the last six months.
